Living in the unit gets better everyday. From the rainbow light on the walls from the balaustrade glass to the blue light in the spa at night it is absolutely beautiful. I swim in the spa most days, sometimes two or three times. Think I am learning to manage it's care and how to backwash every two months or so.  I have been to Miele for a lesson on the Combi oven. They are still waiting on parts for both of the ovens which have idiosyncratic problems but now both useable. A lesson on the big oven in a couple of weeks.

The vegetable garden has yielded its first tomatoes, flowers and chinese vegetables, not huge specimens but I was pleased. It is really relaxing to come home from work and spend 20 minutes out there watering and fluffing around. Rosemary tried to transfer some worms from the country but I have not seen them since so perhaps they left.

It is quite a skill to open the unit at different points to the wind so that it travels gently but completely through. I have gotten quite addicted to sleeping with my bedroom doors completely open at night and the breeze is perfect. Only when it rains hard (blows in) or I have been on night duty do I shut the doors for airconditioned silence. 

The window on the verandah near the 2nd and 3rd bedrooms was an enlightened design idea. That was from the night you stayed up trying to improve the rooms that I thought would be "dead". The kitchen layout is perfectly planned. The ovens, microwaves, dishwasher and coffee machine make it luxurious.

• Johns friendliness and going above & beyond the call of duty on our set up
